The purpose of the Feldenkrais Guild of North America is to develop, promote and protect the Feldenkrais Method by upholding the Standards of Practice.
Working with a guild certified practitioner means that you are guaranteed the best practice in this field. To keep our license active, we participate in ongoing training and further education, study research and inspire and learn from each other.
FGNA is a nonprofit, tax exempt, professional organization concerned with increasing public awareness of the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education, the certification and continuing education of practitioners, the protection of the quality of the Feldenkrais work, and research in the Method's effectiveness.
Only people personally trained by Dr. Feldenkrais, or graduates of Guild Accredited Training Programs are eligible to be certified, to become members of FGNA, and to use its service marked terms:

Feldenkrais is taught in many countries of the world.
The International Feldenkrais Federation (IFF) is the coordinating organisation of most Feldenkrais Guilds and Associations and other key Feldenkrais professional organisations worldwide. It was founded 1992. The aim of the International Feldenkrais Federation is the development of the international Feldenkrais community, through promoting effective co-operation and communication in the spirit of the Feldenkrais Method.
